Headteacher's Welcome
Welcome to Brenzett Church of England Primary School.
At Brenzett Primary School we believe that all children and adults have the right to a life lived in abundance and to flourish in an inclusive and caring environment. We seek to provide an education that enables all pupils, especially those from a disadvantaged background, to reach their full potential no matter what their circumstance. We aim to make every moment count, giving everything our pupils do a purpose and meaning. We allow all pupils the chance to achieve their very best within a loving, safe and supportive setting, serving the whole community.
The school’s curriculum is underpinned by the support of the whole community who strive to ensure the knowledge and skills are delivered in a considered and concise way, building effectively upon prior learning so pupils successfully reach their personal and academic goals and are equipped with the necessary skills to take advantage of opportunities, responsibilities and experiences in later life, ensuring they live life in all its fullness. By affording our pupils a range of opportunities and experiences, and utilising the skills and expertise within the staffing body, such as through Music and the Arts as well as our Forest School Provision, we are not only able to promote academic success but we are able to encourage the development of more vocational and technical learning experiences which are available to all pupils, especially those who are considered disadvantaged. Our Forest School provides pupils a chance to connect with nature and learn lifelong skills such as wood carving, fire making, den building; and through our Arts provision, having the opportunity to perform on stage, receive specialist drama teaching, learn a range of musical instruments alongside a specialist music teacher and having opportunities to compose music and perform to an audience. We constantly provide opportunities to engage all learners and believe that every pupil has the right to a childhood which is full of happiness, allows opportunities for investigating the world they live in and that there is no limit to curiosity, having a thirst for new experiences and knowledge.
Brenzett Church of England Primary School is a school which promises to provide all its pupils with the necessary opportunities and experiences in abundance, so their lives are lived in all their fullness and they are able to reach their full potential on their journey to success.
